Overview of processing operations

The following overview summarises the types of data processed and the purposes of their processing.

Types of data processed

Categories of data subjects

Purposes of processing

Relevant legal bases

Below we set out the legal bases of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of which we process personal data:

Security measures

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk. These include in particular the encryption of data transmission using TLS/SSL (recognisable by https:// in the address bar) as well as appropriate access, input and transfer controls.

Contacting us

When you contact us (e.g. via the contact form or by email), the information provided by the person making the enquiry is processed to the extent necessary to answer the enquiry. Specifically, we process the data entered in the contact form (name, email address, where applicable dropzone/organisation, and message) exclusively to answer your enquiry.

Provision of the website and web hosting

In order to provide our website securely and efficiently, we use the services of a web hosting provider (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), from whose servers the website can be accessed. Server log files record IP addresses, date and time of access, browser type and operating system; they serve exclusively to deliver the website and for security purposes (in particular to detect attacks) and are generally deleted after 14 days.

Reach measurement (own visitor statistics)

In order to improve our website, we analyse the use of this website with self-operated statistics that run exclusively on our web space at IONOS. No cookies are set, no information is stored on or read from your device, and no data is transferred to third parties.

Your IP address is not stored. It is only used briefly to form a shortened checksum (hash) together with the browser identifier and a random value that changes daily. This checksum only remains the same on the same day; the random value is deleted daily. Recognition across several days or attribution to your person is therefore not possible.

We record the page accessed, date and time, the domain of the referring website, campaign parameters in the address (e.g. "utm_campaign"), the language version, the device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) and whether a form was submitted successfully — but not its content. For addresses that do not exist, the address accessed is also recorded in order to find faulty links. The individual data are deleted after 12 months; after that, only aggregated daily values without any reference to visitors are retained.

Fonts

The fonts and icons used on this website are delivered exclusively from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers, in particular not to Google.

Deletion of data

The data processed by us is deleted in accordance with the statutory requirements as soon as the consents permitting its processing are revoked or other permissions cease to apply (e.g. if the purpose of processing this data no longer applies or the data is not necessary for the purpose). Where data must be retained for legal reasons (e.g. retention obligations under commercial or tax law), its processing is restricted to these purposes.

Rights of data subjects

As a data subject, you have various rights under the GDPR, arising in particular from Art. 15 to 18 and 21 GDPR:
